Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following way:

• Royal Mail
• Put your request in the prescription box in Reception
• Online Request using Patient Access Services

Please allow 72 hours for prescriptions to be processed. 

Unfortunately we do no accept telephone requests. 

Online Requests

You can view and order your repeat prescriptions online through the Patient Access Service (you will need to register for Patient Access account).

If you have already signed up for Patient Access you can sign in using the link below, then select medication(s) you require and click Submit Request.

If you need to register for Patient Access Account where you can

• View and order your repeat prescriptions
• Check & update your personal details
• View the information held in your medical record

You can also come into the surgery and fill out a Patient Access form and bring in photo ID and our reception team will be able to provide account details. 

Any problems with Patient Access they have Technical Support available in the form of an online instant chat or alternatively phone and speak to our reception team who will be able to advise you further.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
