Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Brookvale Patient Participation Group is actively looking for new patients to join the group who regularly meet up for an hour or so every 6 weeks. Representing the Practice will be the Practice Manager and on occasions when invited to discuss relevant matters will be the GP or Nurses and members of our Reception/Admin team.
The group was set up by asking for volunteer patients approx. 2008. The group have helped to improved services within the Practice such as challenging more availability on appointment times, consulted on Practice opening times and currently working on our wasted GP/Nurse appointments (DNA’S). The Practice values the views of the patients and welcome any new ideas on how we can improve our services.

Virtual Patient Group (VPG)
Alternative, you can sign up to join our Virtual Patient Group (VPG)
We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys short so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
